BERTUAHPOS.COM (BPC), PEKANBARU – Land dispute between villagers of West Minas with PT Arara Abadi never ended. These conditions make society will become more worried about the land that was retaken by the company.

The society took the initiative to fly the flag in the area. They also plant cassava on these lands and monitor the activity of  PT Arara Abadi who still worked on the land in the disputed border.

“The government of Siak Regency promised to resolve the land disputes immediately. But until now this issue is still neglected. That is why the society flying the nasional flag of Indonesia and plant the cassava on their land,” said the Social and Environmental Activist of West Minas, Simanjuntak Ginonggom SH.

Because this issue is not also completed by Siak Regency, they also have reported this issue to the central government. Minas societal expectations, they want their land returned to them immediately so that they can manage it back.

“We have reported this problem to the President, Parliament, Assembly, Forestry Minister, and Ombudsman. We deliver the documents directly to the center,” he explained. (vany)
