BERTUAHPOS.COM, PEKANBARU – The Network of Forest Rescue of Riau (Jikalahari) estimates that approximately 40 percent of the raw material for pulp is the result of natural forest.

Muslims believe the indication of natural forest clearance which conducted by RAPP has continued until now. There are two areas in Meranti Islands and Bengkalis which are still become the target of natural forest clearance, including Pulau Padang and Rupat.
“We believe that the activity of natural forest clearance is still running,” Muslim said.
