BERTUAHPOS.COM, PEKANBARU – An Nur Great Mosque is a mosque located in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. This mosque was built in 1963 and finished in 1968. The mosque is located in the capital of the province of Riau, Pekanbaru is currently one of the grandest in Indonesia. From the side of the building, the mosque are much influenced by the architectural style of Malay, Turkish, Arabic and Indian.
Great Mosque of An-Nur Riau in Pekanbaru is also referred to as the Taj Mahal belongs to the province of Riau. When we observe architectural of An-Nur Mosque does have some similarities with the Taj Mahal. This mosque architecture was designed by Ir. Roseno with a size of 50 x 50 m, located in the yard of the extent of 400 x 200 m. The capacity of the mosque can accommodate about 4,500 worshipers.
